Well it looks like winter is here to stay, and will grace us with it's presence at least till Christmas Day. This is creating havoc on the roads to say the very least! Patience is the order of the moment with long delays in getting where you want to go. I am pleased to say I do not have to visit the malls as I have most of my gifts wrapped and ready. Everything is organized for our family Christmas celebrations, except those last minute food items.
Peace and Calm are wishes for this festive season and a time to remember those less fortunate than ourselves. I certainly have a great appreciation for the sanctury of my warm little home, filled with love and that feeling of connection with the ones I hold so near and dear to my heart.
So keep warm by remembering the ones you love, give them a big hug and be thankful for their presence in your life. This is their present (gift) to you and yours to them which holds so much more meaning than anything material.
Warm Christmas Wishes.....

Warm Connections
On this cold December day it has been wonderful to experience some amazing connections, some new and some not so new. To experience that heart warming recognition is one of the most important things that we as human beings have the priveledge of sharing with one another, and along with that comes the opening up to the introduction of new ideas and experiences, things we only dreamed about, hoped for their existance, but not being too sure whether we will ever be able to step into them. It has been one of those days for me. I am still excited by the wealth of possibilities I have just touched on in just a few hours and am itching to get on and do like an impatient child, but with maturity comes the reality of knowing all too well that everything comes at the right time. These tidbits today just served to wet my apetite, dangle the carrot so to speak, and give me a small glimpse of where the path of my passion lies and showing me a microscopic view of the direction my life is leading me. I look forward to the continuing journey along the way.
So I am off to curl up in my cozy chair with a good book and listen to some relaxing music, both solace for the soul.
Wishing you all lots of warm connections too.

Getting Started
Well this is the so called "breaking ground" of blogging for me.
Today I attended a class at MKS Learing Centre on creating Your Business Plan with one of the obvious crucial components being on Marketing/Selling. So then came the quick discussion on Virtual Marketing. After class someone suggested looking at Facebook, and no this is not the first time I had heard this. On my return home whilst checking my emails I opened one from Peak Potentials and guess what the topic was - "Facebook Fortunes" with Mari Smith. Well enough messages or what! Synchronicity! So here I am wanting to get started, sitting with a blank page in front of me, wondering what to talk about I decide what better topic than the one that got me here in the first place, social networking. So here goes....
In this day and age of social networking so many of us have experimented personally and have become comfortable with it, integrated it into part of our daily lives, using it to locate, reconnect, and stay connected with friends, relatives, classmates and potential mates all over the globe. What an ingenious way of introducing something new to the population. Then came that realization, that so called "ah ha" moment as to what a powerful tool this social networking can be and "if this works for me personally then this should also work for growing my business!" What a great tool to connect and reconnect with clients and customers to promote, nuture and develop business relations.
I will continue to research this subject and many more interesting topics that seem to cross my path. So stay posted.
Have a great day!
